Local Elections 2022

This will include elections to Swansea Council and elections to the Community and Town Councils in Swansea. Elected councillors will serve a term of 5 years.

These local government elections will be the first to be held since the introduction of new legislation in Wales which allows all those who are registered, legally resident in Wales and over 16 on polling day to vote.

These will also be the first elections to be administered on the new boundary arrangements. Voters may be voting in a different electoral ward to the one which they have previously voted in - some wards have changes, some remain the same.
