Bellringing
Are you looking for an interesting new activity for the dark winter evenings? Bellringing is a fun communal activity and great exercise. It typically takes 3-12 months to become a competent basic ringer depending on age and aptitude, but learning the full range of skills to become an advanced change ringer can provide interest for a lifetime. We practice at St Paul's Church, Sketty, every Tuesday evening from 7.30-9.00. Come along on a Tuesday evening if you're interested - there'll be a light on outside the tower door - you'll find us up the spiral staircase. Any age from around12 can learn and there's no upper age limit but you will need to be able to manage the spiral staircase. It's a great activity to list on personal statements for Uni applications!
