Sketty Flat Development
The meeting held this evening to discuss the new flat developments was a valuable and informative session, providing essential insights into the upcoming project. We express our gratitude to our councillors, including Nicola Furlong, Cheryl Philpott, James McGettrick and Michael Locke, for being present and sharing their knowledge with us.
The proposed development is set to take place in the carpark on Eversley Road, and the developers are scheduled to take control of the site from 17th April. We learned that groundwork for the construction of 13 flats will begin on 24th April, with no piling involved. The entire project is expected to be completed by late summer of next year.
Coastal and their development partners were very positive and friendly during the meeting this evening, assuring the community that they would be receptive to any concerns that may arise during the construction process. The presence of the developers at the meeting provided an opportunity for the community to raise any questions or issues related to the project, which were addressed by the Coastal team and their partners.
It is essential to note that the development project aims to provide much-needed housing units in the area, which will address the growing demand for affordable housing.
