A New Building Estate

A NEW BUILDING ESTATE AT SWANSEA.

80 ACRES OF SINGLETON TO BE LET OUT.

It is with great satisfaction we learn that Lord Swansea has decided to open up for building purposes about 80 acres of his magnificent estate at Singleton, adjacent to the Sketty-road between the Mumbles-road and Sketty Green. Without exception here are some of the most charming building sites in the neighbourhood of Swansea. The surrounding country is beautifully wooded and fine views of Swansea Bay and Mumbles Head can be obtained from a large portion of this area. It is also easily accessible from Swansea, being within three minutes walk of Sketty-road station, Mumbles Railway. Swansea is fast extending westward, and that such eligible building ground as this is available for suburban residences, will, unquestionably, be a boon to Swansea people. There is no doubt that a large number of the plots will be immediately taken up, and that investors will find to their satisfaction that with the ever-increasing growth of Swansea, they will entirely increase in value year by year. The portion of Singleton estate above referred to is entirely hidden by thickly wooded plantations from Singleton mansion house, his lordship's residence. We understand that all particulars as to prices, etc., can be obtained at the Singleton Estate office, or from Messrs. Hannaford and Wills, architects and surveyors, Swansea.
