Sketty Well

Pystill Gwyn, or "White Well," was a notable site located in Sketty. The Pistyll, Sketty’s only water source until piped water came to the village, was opposite St Paul’s Church next to the pedestrian bridge on Gower Road. By the 19th century the term "Sketty Village" had been applied to the cottages centred on the cross roads a little way west.
