Eversley Road Carpark Closure

Starting from Monday 17th April, there will be significant changes to the parking arrangements in Sketty, as the carpark in the area will be closed due to the Coastal Housing development project. Therefore, no vehicles will be permitted to use the carpark during this period.

In a letter addressed to the local residents and dated 31st March, the developers informed us that they will take possession of the site on 17th April 2023. As a result, public parking will be prohibited from this date onwards. Additionally, clearance and excavation work will begin on 24th April 2023, and the anticipated duration of the build will be 68 weeks.

This will undoubtedly cause considerable inconvenience to the businesses, residents and visitors of Sketty, and we hope that patrons of our local businesses manage to find other places to park in the area. Hopefully with cooperation and creativity, we can find solutions to minimise the impact of the parking restrictions on our daily lives.
