Sketty Fire
The Sketty community is grateful for the quick and efficient response of the fire service in a recent incident that occurred in the area. On the afternoon of April 10th the fire service were called to a building in Sketty Cross where they were able to arrive on the scene in minutes. The prompt arrival of the fire service was critical in ensuring that the situation was brought under control, and no one was harmed.
Before the fire service arrived, concerned locals immediately sprung into action, entering the building to ensure that no one was left behind. A local couple also stepped up to provide support during this difficult time. Upon seeing that a dog and a cat were taken by its owners from the burning building, the couple offered to take in the animals and provide them with a safe and space until their owners could be reunited with them.
In times of crisis, the Sketty community has demonstrated that they are willing to come together and support one another. This collective effort is what makes Sketty such a special place to live, work, and visit. The community extends its heartfelt thanks to the fire service and all those who played a role in ensuring the safety of the community during this incident.
