Monthly Litter Pick
The Friends of Singleton Park monthly litter pick this month was full of interesting finds. Who would have known that so many interesting things would get dumped in our otherwise beautiful park? 9 bags of litter, two traffic cones, a lonely croc sandal, a football & some highlights in the photos.
Thanks to newcomers Faye, Emmanuel & Phil as well as grizzled litter picking veterans Vanessa, Rhiannon, Sue & James.
Since we started litter picking with the Hub at Sketty Library from Swansea Council & Keep Wales Tidy - Cadwch Gymru'n Daclus we've now removed 27 bags of litter, 5 bags of recyclables, enough alcohol stashes to fuel an octoberfest, a 1980's vintage pepsi can, a skateboard, half a spade, two traffic cones, a croc sandal, a used eyebrow curling kit, and a football from the park, & reunited a dog-tag with its dog.
Alcohol drinkers: there are plenty of bins - please use them!
